Video calls are currently only available on Nye Phone Web, our browser-based version. You need to be using Safari for an Apple Device or Chrome for a Windows computer or Android device.

Step 1. Log into weare.nye.health using your email address and password. If you don't have an account yet, you can sign up here.

Step 2. Type in your patient’s number into the white box

Step 3. If your patient already has the Nye app, you'll see 'Video' and be able to video call straight away.

  • If your patient doesn't have the Nye app, you’ll be prompted to click the green plus sign to invite them to Nye.
  • Your patient will receive an SMS with instructions on how to download the app and make an account. This takes roughly 5 minutes.
  • Refresh your browser after 5 minutes and you'll be able to tap “Video call” to have a virtual consultation.

Step 4. Complete a few hardware checks before your call connects to grant permissions to your device's microphone and camera.

If for any reason you have trouble with audio or video, click the cog in the top right corner of the app and check to make sure the permissions are correct.
